What I didn't do

  1. Hi Ava
I love these poems. They always make me laugh! Even though you didn't do all those things, I am sure you will do them all one day, when we are out of Lockdown. I am sure you would have enjoyed your holidays, as the weather was really lovely and it was a nice time to spend it with your family. What was your favourite activity in the holidays?

  2. You sure didn't do a lot of these things Ava. Are some of them things that you really love but can not at the moment? You said you did get to kill a cow. Is that so you can have lots of delicious meals with your family?

  3. Wow Ava there are a lot of things that you didn't do in the holidays. I bet you are missing fishing and jumping off the jetty at lake Mahinapua. The water is getting a bit colder now so you might have to wait till next summer unless you have a really warm wetsuit you can use for winter time.
    Have you got a wetsuit?

  4. Hi Ava,
My husband didn't get to go fishing down at the beach either. He can't wait to go down next week. What are some of the things you did get to do in the holidays? I am sure you got to play some pretty cool games at home with your sisters.
How are those chooks of yours doing right now? I hope they are laying plenty of eggs right now. I am really pleased that my four chooks. I have a big black rooster too. He used to chase me but he's finally stopped doing so. Thank goodness!

  5. Kia ora Ava,
Ka pai on creating this blogpost about the things you didn’t get to do in the holidays. I know it was probably a little bit disappointing to have to stay inside for your school holidays, but I am sure you would have gotten up to some amazing things!
What kind of activities did you get to do while on holidays?
You mentioned in your post that you didn't get to go to Whakatane to see your family. Whakatane is such a beautiful place with the most stunning scenery, and spectacular beaches.
What activities do you and family enjoy doing when you are in Whakatane?
Do you have a lot of family in Whakatane?
How often do you go there?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
In my bubble during this lockdown there have been six of us; my mum, dad, and my three siblings. Having so many people in the house all day has been pretty hectic, and at times very frustrating, however I am very grateful to have had so many people to keep me company over the last few weeks.
Do you have any brothers or sisters?
You have done a fantastic job on this blogpost, keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi
